Need Help With Your Own Case?

This form doesn't reach a lawyer, a court, the police or your state's licensing agency. No one here can give you legal advice, look up your case or request a hearing for you. If your license hearing deadline is close, don't wait for a reply here. For your own case:

  • Talk to a lawyer licensed in your state. Your state bar's lawyer referral service can match you with one, and the guide to finding a DUI lawyer explains how to check a lawyer's license.
  • Ask the court about a public defender if you can't afford a lawyer. Ask at your first court appearance or call the court clerk.
  • Request your license hearing in time. Your state's page shows the deadline and links to the licensing agency, and the deadline calculator counts the days from your arrest.

Send a Correction or Feedback

For a correction, include the page address, what looks wrong and, if you can, a link to the statute or official page (the state legislature, licensing agency or court) that shows the right detail. Every report is checked against the official source before a page changes. Feedback on what's unclear or missing is welcome too.

Never send your case number, driver's license number, the facts of your arrest or other sensitive personal information through this form. Messages here aren't confidential the way messages to your own lawyer are.
