Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These terms explain what this independent site is, the limits of its pages and tools, and the rules for using it. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Effective October 3, 2026Applies to dui.help

dui.help is operated by Rupe Enterprises LLC, a Washington limited liability company. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Rupe Enterprises LLC.

Not a Law Firm and No Attorney-Client Relationship

We are not a law firm, and no one at DUI Help acts as your lawyer. Using the site, using a tool or sending a message through the contact form doesn't create an attorney-client relationship with us or with anyone else, and what you send us isn't protected as a confidential communication with a lawyer. We are not a lawyer referral service, and we don't recommend or connect you with any lawyer.

Information Only, Not Legal Advice

The state pages, guides and tools explain published DUI laws in plain words to help you understand your situation. They are general information, not legal advice, and they don't cover every situation or every exception. For advice about your own case, talk to a lawyer licensed in your state. You can find one through your state bar's lawyer referral service, or ask the court to appoint a public defender if you can't afford a lawyer.

Not a Government Agency

This site is not run by, connected to or endorsed by any court, police agency, motor vehicle agency, state government or federal agency. We can't see your case or driving record, schedule a hearing, accept filings or reinstate a license. Only the court decides criminal charges and sentences, and only your state's licensing agency decides suspensions, hearings and reinstatement. Their rules and decisions control over anything on this site.

Deadlines Are Strict, So Confirm Yours

License hearing deadlines are short and often can't be extended. A deadline shown on this site or by the deadline calculator is based on the state's published rule, but holidays, how the first day is counted, the date on your notice and changes in the law can change your actual deadline. Confirm it with the licensing agency or a lawyer, and act as early as you can. We are not responsible for a missed deadline.

Tool Results Restate the Law

The tools restate each state's published rules for the choices you enter. They don't predict a sentence, a plea offer, a hearing result or an insurance quote, and they depend on what you enter. Your outcome may differ because of facts the tools don't ask about.

Laws Change

States change their DUI laws often, usually after a legislative session. Each state fact shows its citation and the month it was checked, and how we research explains how facts are re-checked. We can't promise that every page or external link is current at the moment you read it. If you find a material error, use the contact form.

Advertising

The site shows display ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers are chosen by Google, not by us, and an ad is not a recommendation of any lawyer, insurer or service. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Read the advertising disclosure for details.

External Sites

Links to state legislatures, licensing agencies, courts, federal agencies and other organizations are provided for convenience. We don't control the content, availability, security or privacy practices of sites we don't operate. A link doesn't by itself mean that we endorse the organization or every claim on its site.

Acceptable Use

You may use the site for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misrepresent automated traffic as a person, or republish substantial portions of the site as your own product. Ordinary search-engine crawling that respects published controls is allowed.

Site Content and Availability

Unless a page says otherwise, the site's original writing, design and tools are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The text of statutes and government materials remains attributable to its source. We may update, suspend or remove site features and content.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed, including warranties of accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Rupe Enterprises LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site, including decisions made in reliance on a page or a tool result. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and Questions

We may revise these terms by posting an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means the revised terms apply to later use. Send questions through the contact form.

dui.help is an independent guide, not a law firm or a government agency, and doesn't give legal advice. For advice on your case, talk to a lawyer licensed in your state; your state bar can refer you, and if you can't afford a lawyer, ask the court about a public defender.
